Beware that some used bus dealers will label a used bus as reconditioned after only touching-up the exterior and detailing the seats. That is only a fraction of what a truly reconditioned bus should be.
All of our used buses for sale are refurbished and go through a thorough inspection with over 125 mechanical parts and assemblies inspected serviced and repaired. We either repair or replace items that don’t pass our inspection which exceeds state mandated items. Some parts like alternators, starters, water pumps, power steering pumps, pulley bearings, brake calipers and pads, ball joints and steering stabilizers are particularly prone to wear and we pay particular attention to them. Other parts like wheel covers, winshield wipers and tires are often replaced. Of course, all lights and safety equipment as well as handicapped lifts are double checked before delivery. Ford El Dorado E-450 21 passenger shuttle bus with with just 119K well maintained miles - equipped with an economical Ford turbo-diesel engine and automatic transmission with overdrive. We have performed our 125 point mechanical and safety certification check in our DOT staffed shop and fully reconditioned this bus and detailed it to give it an an excellent appearance. We have also refinished the paint on this bus and seerviced and repaired it as needed and have just detailed it to give it an an excellent appearance. The bus is in mint condition and was very well cared for on a fleet maintenance schedule and serviced regularly. As part of our reconditioning process, the bus was fully serviced and inspected. Any repairs were done as needed to make this bus fit for any use. The partially carpeted cabin looks almost new and the fiberglass exterior of the bus was just repainted on the sides for a like-new appearance. The front tires are brand new and the back four tires are in good condition. All electrical and mechanical equipment is in proper working order. There are no known problems with this vehicle and the bus is 100% ready to go. Test-drives welcome!!!
